Introduction

The Titanic Case Study aimed to analyze the survival patterns of passengers aboard the Titanic using Big Data tools such as Apache Pig, Apache Hive, and Java MapReduce. The goal was to uncover insights related to survival rates, age groups, gender, ticket class, family members, fare, and port of embarkation.

Objectives

The primary objectives of this analysis were:

1. To calculate survival rates based on gender.
2. To analyze survival rates across age groups (children, adults, seniors).
3. To determine survival rates based on passenger class (1st, 2nd, 3rd).
4. To evaluate survival rates with and without family members aboard.
